Design & Philosophy

Makka Hotel's design is inspired by Buddhist principles of letting go. Guests remove their shoes upon entry and store them in wooden lockers before reaching the rooms, a practice that reinforces the hotel's calming ethos. A library on the second floor, stocked with books on Buddha's teachings and other topics, offers a quiet space overlooking the garden.

Rooms & Amenities

Each of the 22 air-conditioned rooms includes a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator, and a private bathroom with complimentary toiletries. The hotel provides shower facilities and all rooms are non-smoking. A koi pond in the reception area and lush tropical gardens surround the property, giving guests areas to relax outdoors.

Dining

The on-site restaurant serves an à la carte menu of Thai cuisine, including vegetarian and vegan options. Breakfast is available from 7 a.m. to 12 noon with set menus offering Thai, Chinese, and Western choices.
